The mission of Cy-Fair Women's Network is to help business women develop contacts, exchange information and exchange their knowledge of business and personal issues.
The organization is to promote and support each woman as an individual and as a group member through strengthening the membership, advocacy and networking and active participation in the community.
Cy-Fair is a non-competitive organization. We require that no two members represent the same type of business. Our board of directors reviews your application and determines if a conflict exists.
We begin our meetings at 7:45 a.m. We have breakfast and a planned program for each weekly meeting. We strive to have at least one networking meeting, a business meeting and two meetings with speakers each month. We close the meetings at 9:00 a.m. so members can get to their respective businesses and begin their workday.
We stress attendance. When a member misses three consecutive meetings, their membership is subject to termination.
Some of our members have products that they like to display at the meetings. This is fine and
encouraged except on days when we have an outside speaker.
